​As of March 24, 2025, the Predator franchise is expanding with two upcoming films:
1. Predator: Badlands (2025): Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, this sixth installment in the series is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025. The plot centers on a Predator navigating an alien wasteland, while two sisters uncover their unsettling past. Elle Fanning stars in the lead role. Filming took place in New Zealand under the working title “Backpack” from August to October 2024. ​
2. Predator: Cursed Lands (2025): This action and sci-fi film, also directed by Dan Trachtenberg, is another addition to the Predator franchise. While specific plot details are limited, it’s known that the story follows a group of survivors who discover a buried Predator ship, inadvertently awakening a new threat. The film is set to feature Jenna Ortega and Arnold Schwarzenegger. ​
