PHOTOGRAPHY is usually done for some time prior to the creation of the picture. The creation of the photograph typically starts with a studio camera, set up on a tripod. The photographer will select the shutter speed, aperture, and other camera settings necessary to obtain the desired effects. A common technique used is to use both the hands to make the image by slowly moving the hand over the camera body while turning the focus knob in the opposite direction of the subject of the shot. One of the most common digital photography mistakes is not using the right shutter speed and aperture. When images are underexposed, the background appears dark, while if the aperture is too large, the sky becomes overly bright.

PHOTOGRAPHY can be done using a variety of different types of cameras including digital, film, SLR, and dedicated cameras. In the past, it was necessary to purchase a photographic lens specifically designed for photography. Today, most professional photographers use some type of digital camera and lens mount. PHOTOGRAPHY can be achieved in different ways including, but not limited to: shooting from different positions, shooting from the sun, and by using a flash. Camera placement is important in achieving the desired effect of PHOTOGRAPHY.
