The upcoming horror-thriller “Night of the Hunted” is set to hit screens this October, bringing a tense, psychological survival story to audiences just in time for Halloween. The film is directed by Franck Khalfoun and produced by Alexandre Aja, reuniting the creative forces behind several modern horror hits.
Camille Rowe stars as Alice, a woman who stops at an isolated gas station late at night — only to find herself the target of a relentless sniper. Trapped, injured, and cut off from the outside world, she’s forced into a deadly game of survival with a mysterious voice that taunts her over the radio. As the night unfolds, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur.
Billed as a blend of high-concept suspense and minimalist horror, Night of the Hunted unfolds in real time, heightening the tension with every passing moment. Early reviews from private screenings have praised the film’s atmosphere, emotional intensity, and Rowe’s performance as “captivating and raw.”
Director Khalfoun describes the film as “a study in fear and isolation,” with themes of voyeurism, violence, and control threaded throughout the story.
The film is slated to premiere at international horror festivals this summer, followed by a limited theatrical and streaming release in October 2025, including availability on Shudder.
